Make a change.
See what it does.

Start with a ticker you can stop. Change its pace, watch each pulse, then open Patchbay to see how its parts connect. It shows a repeating pulse, not the time of day. The examples run in your own local Conduit body.

Your first experiment

  1. Predict. Choose “A ticker you can stop.” Read the source: time/every(1s) sets the interval; >> connects its pulses to the display.
  2. Try. Choose Try in my Handbook and watch the pulses. Change 1s to 2s, try again, and compare the pace.
  3. Look inside. Open Patchbay and select the ticker from the resident plots. Select a gear, port, or cord in its diagram to inspect what it means.
  4. Stop and return. Choose Lull to stop execution. Wake starts it again. A reload recovers the same local body while admitting fresh execution.

A plot describes the work. Gears invoke kinds of operation; cords connect their typed ports. A plan selects how the work will run, and a play executes it.
