The Body is the computer.
Conduit lets you make a Body, one logical computer, from the physical and virtual computers you actually have. A Body can be one multicore machine or a changing collection of browsers, laptops, VMs, Raspberry Pis, microcontrollers, and other Hosts.
Its programs are Forms: semantic graphs that describe what should happen without welding that meaning to the machines that happen to realize it now.
Reviewed releases
These are the generic releases shipped with the current published Crèche. Choose an application Host for a computer you already use, or a bootable ConduitOS image for the exact machine profile shown.

Hybrid ISO disk images built for one exact architecture and machine profile. Virtual-machine profiles require the named emulator and firmware.
Same idea, different scale
Body A
Conduit can schedule several Forms against one machine's finite resources. This is the operating-system-shaped case.
Body B
The same scheduling model can place compatible work across Hosts and admitted Lines. Distribution changes topology and cost, not the identity of the computer.
A small mental model
A Body may run many Forms. The architectural direction is one logical scheduler per Body, planning all current work together rather than creating a separate scheduling universe for every program.
